Ediciones Eventuales is our publishing house, developed from one of my projects, which included the name and the logo, and became true thanks to the compromise of Igor Muñiz, manager of the bookshop Librería Muga http://www.publimuga.com. He provided the project with his wide experience in the book's field and localized essential economic resources for it. Another determinant element to set it in motion was the generous effort of Manuel Rodríguez, a photographer and editor of the digital photography magazine, http://www.elangelcaido.org.

Ediciones Eventuales publishes texts about artistic production or creative works related to the image field: photography, architecture, visual poetry, paintings, etc., and pretends to introduce works from emerging artists with a critical will allowing them to contact with qualified and reflexive readers who have their own criteria about their readings.

Banal or massive consumption products are not taken into account in our catalogue.

Our books are abiding objects in time that will lead their owners to further readings, and their carefully binding hardcover introduces quality criteria that distinguish ourselves from the ephemeral and disposable products.

We have published two titles so far, the first one, Kamasutra para Hansel y Gretel, from a Galician artist called Ángel Cerviño, brings together 69 aphorisms which sum up the position of the nowadays artist before the challenges of his creative actions; the art commerce; the constructive materials that he chooses from the surrounding reality; the revision of the tradition, and many other matters that fill the loneliness of the artist in his studio. All the texts possess a sharp Galician sense of irony that stresses the depth of his explanations. This is also the explanation for its title ("Kamasutra For Hansel And Gretel"). This edition also includes a brief dictionary for Ángel Cerviño elaborated by art critic Alberto Ruiz de Samaniego.

Esto sí qu'es cosa grande is our second book. It includes 48 photographies by Manuel Rodríguez about the art of "flamenco" since 1996 until 2007 in Madrid. This is an intense and emotional journey through the expression of "cantaores" (flamenco singers), guitar players and "bailaoras" (flamenco dancers), and besides it resembles the feelings of the places and their audiences by means of 15 additional small size photographies at the end of the book. Though it is geographically limited to the Comunidad de Madrid, it tells about profound and universal feelings of the art of flamenco. The book is prologued by me and includes an epilogue by the author, both texts in Spanish and English.
